The Things We Lost In The Fire Fire Fire

Textured Black and White Top - Peacocks / Jeans, Loafers - Primark / Gold Penny Necklace - Topshop / Ring - Dorothy Perkins

I'm seriously loving the minimalistic look at the moment and this outfit fits perfectly into that style. I really want to start fresh with my wardrobe and start buying key items that I can really mix and match! I'm obsessed with the Olsen twins style at the moment, which is odd because I'm not normally someone who looks for inspiration from celebrities. I'll probably have a wishlist coming up soon with some minimalistic style items I'm on the hunt for.

I recently found out I got a place at Fashion Retail Academy which I'm ecstatic about. I went for the interview a couple of weeks ago and knew it was the perfect place for me, I felt so relaxed and met some really nice people. So excited now about the prospect of studying something I'm really interested in for the next two years!

How I'd Style:

These are one of my favourite posts to do and I feel like I haven't done one in ages! Again I've somehow chosen the majority of the items from Topshop, but they always seem to have what I want.

I decided to base this outfit around these gorgeous block heeled sandals from Dorothy Perkins. I came across them the other day and I've fallen in love with them. They'd be the perfect summer shoes and would go with just about anything e.g. skinny jeans, dresses and skirts. I chose for this look to go with a pair of mom jeans because they just look perfect with heels. For this outfit I was trying to go with the minimalistic look without being too boring so I chose a white panel shirt and some simple silver rings.

Found Yourself A Path Upon The Ground

Coat, Fluffy Jumper and Skirt - Primark / Brown Belt - H&M / Cut Out Ankle Boots - New Look / Casio Watch - The Watch Hut* / Turtle Silver Necklace - Delilah Dust*

This is definitely a typical Hollie outfit, I feel so comfortable wearing dark colours. I bought this skirt recently because I don't own an black skirts and when i got to the till it was only £1! It such a nice material and I love the texture of it. I decided to pair it with my fluffy jumper because I haven't worn it in so long and a brown belt.

Lace And Pastel

Lace Collared Black Dress - Persun Mall* / Green Pastel Coat - Choies* / Casio Watch - The Watch Hut* / Cut Out Boots - New Look via Asos*

I recently received this gorgeous LBD from Persun Mall and I loveee it, the lace collar is just gorgeous! I was really surprised on how thick and good quality the material is and I can tell I'll be wearing it a lot. I think it would look really nice casually with a leather jacket and ankle boots, or really smart and sophisticated with a blazer. Today, I decided to style it with my lovely pastel green coat and I really like how the pastel and lace go together.

The only negative thing I would say about Persun Mall though is the shipping. This dress took weeks to come but I did order it around Chinese New Year, when they took a break from shipping orders to celebrate. Saying this though they have some amazing unique pieces and if you've never checked their website out I really recommend it. It's one of those websites I'd order from if I really liked something but didn't need it to come in time for a specific occasion.

Delilah Dust Jewellery

Aren't these necklaces just adorable? I was kindly sent them by Delilah Dust recently and I love them, especially the Turtle one. I think they would be nice to wear separately but would also look great layered with other necklaces as they are quite small and dainty. I'm sure you'll be seeing them in some outfit posts soon.

If you haven't heard of Delilah Dust before, it is basically a jewellery company which two sisters Atonia and Dominique Mackenzielaunched in 2011. As well as necklaces they also sell gorgeous rings, bracelets and iPhone cases. Apart from these necklaces, my favourite products on the site are the druzy necklaces. I personally think the jewellery is very affordable, so if your on the hunt for some new jewellery, I'd really recommend Delilah Dust.

Onto some exciting news for me, I've got an interview at FRA! If you read my last post you'll know I applied for a course there so I'm really excited but nervous. Fingers-crossed the interview goes well and I get a place!

Parisian Style

What I'm Wearing: Trench Coat - Old (Not a clue!)/ Breton Top - New Look / Jeans - H&M (old) / Loafers - Primark / Casio Watch - The Watch Hut*

As i flicked through the latest issue of Company magazine I realized how similar my style is to how Parisians dress and how I'd like to dress. So today's outfit is inspired by Parisian style. I'm a big fan of anything stripey and monochrome so this outfit is perfect for me. I love the style of this coat and think it can make any outfit look classy.

Lend Me Your Eyes I Can Change What You See

Lace Black Top, Spotty Black Pencil Skirt - Primark / Coat - Old / Cut Out Boots - New Look Via Asos* / Casio Watch - The Watch Hut*

This gorgeous lace top was a recent purchase of mine and I'm so happy I bought it. It reminds me of the dress Kim from Love Cloth wore to the Cosmo blog awards, which I was completely in love with! The quality of it is amazing and definitely not something I would have thought Primark to sell. The only downside to it though is that the sleeves are a little too short for me and i tried sizing up a few which didn't solve the problem. But nevertheless I couldn't resist it and I can probably get away with wearing it as 3/4 length sleeves. Lace is definitely on my wishlist now as it is just so pretty and feminine!

I got my mock exam results back last Friday and i was over the moon with A's and B's! I wasn't expecting to do that well in the mocks but I worked bloody hard so I'm glad it paid off. Its made me realize if you do put effort into something and work hard then it will happen!
